Chef Steve Young - Royal House Oyster Bar

A native of North Louisiana, Steve Young grew up learning the cornerstones of New Orleans cuisine cooking with his grandmother and mother in their home kitchen.

Steve studied at Delgado Culinary School and has been cooking for over 23 yrs. Steve has worked locally around the city at such restaurants as Copeland’s of New Orleans and Mojo Grill as well as owner/operator of NORD’s restaurant.

Steve loves the excitement and creativity of cooking and continues to please people with the comfort food of the South in which he was raised.

"We were craving some authentic New Orleans food and we were not disappointed. Oysters were delicious and prices were really reasonable! The entrees are a great size. i had the crawfish ettoufee and it was amazing!!"
